Many college admission portals, job application forms, scholarship submissions, and HR systems set a 200KB limit for uploaded documents. PDF files from scanners, design software, or email chains often exceed this limit without any obvious reason — embedded fonts, high-resolution images, and revision history all add invisible weight.
